While it may be great to have him on the team, it’s great that he is still a student. Lets hope he graduates and goes on to a successful life, with or without football.

A-House, thanks. My bad typing missed the word “Not” in the Kennedy did “NOT” meet academic requirements.

I guess I did a poor job of sarcasm. Roy Williams knew everything about the program. He knew there were sham classes and he knew families of student athletes were paid under the table.

If there is any connection to the blue blood schools, I hope the FBI keeps digging. UNC, kansas and other programs benefitted from years and years of bribery and under the table payments.

Roy Williams will continue to deny everything. He knows who pays his salary.

i believe coach Roy Williams received HUGE benefits by players taking the course(s) and remained eligible to lay.

if UNC did not “create/offered the course(s)” how did it register each semester for years for course credit then who did? how did this get by the UNC administration?

islandman:

article says he did NOT meet academic requirements to rejoin the team — that’s a real shame for he could have helped the DL this year.

Create sequence classes where their only requirement for the course is to print and sign and date on the dotted line and receive an A for the semester. All they would need to do is find the room to sign their name to get the A.

Talk about the have and the have nots in college athletics, this will only widen the gap.

We can enjoy the entertainment value UH has to offer as is. Or, we can spin the wheels and believe that there is hope UH will be part of the have’s. I hope I never see the day UH sell out because they need to win at all cost. There will always be Portuguese sausage and sweet bread sales approach to fundraising.

Let’s enjoy this next game on Saturday against SJSU for what it’s worth, entertainment. That’s it. It is nothing more and nothing less. To the student athletes, get your degree. That is something the NCAA cannot take away from you.

Go bows!
