Blaming Cole or saying he’s injured is not our guess but if the coaches know he’s hurt he wouldn’t be playing. It’s the OL that needs revamping. Start there.

Hawaii was exposed against byu – all the deficiencies came out – small size, lack of speed, poor tackling, poor blocking, trying to run back kick offs where none were returned past the 25 year line, and poor play calling by the offense and defense, if we were to play byu again even in Hawaii, it would be another loss. if we want to use the run and shoot, it should have full commitment, discard the rpo.

Hawaii coaching staff simply needed the courage to chabge things up. VERY possible with the run and shoot.

BYU wasn’t better than the Warriors this time around (as much as I am critical about this past weekend’s game). Cougars were slow pokes, for one thing. Warriors were O.K. to spoile SJSU’s homecoming but not this one? Come on. Cordeiro might have one this one (ONE possible change up. Bench McDonald if he’s still hurt! Simple!)

“Exposed.” What a armchair’s cliché. 🙄

H-Man: me tinks they can do 9 – 4 or better if they can catch Fresno and San Diego in a down, funky position — like key players being injured or ill or suspended or ???

Utah State is a very good team, but travel distance can be a downer for them — that’s why SEC teams, to keep a good W – L record, will seldom travel to the West Coast for games

BYU game — noticed that BYU was most successful attacking UH perimeter – what happened to the player assigned to “contain”?

I agree.. Stick to the RNS.. We are not a running team. We should only turn to the run when in the oppositions territory.. Until then set up some screens and shovels

Either way, I still attend the games. Today I bought a new green, Warrior t-shirt for this Saturday’s game.

asking questions and seeking responses/answers is or should be a positive step in any learning process

yes, UH football team has exceeded expectations, but if my expectation was 11 – 2 or 10 – 3 — then, UH has not yet exceeded my expectation

to sit and not ask questions is not learning — why do we stand still when the earth is revolving at nearly 17,500 mph? why is the “darken” sky filled with so many beautiful colors? why do ETs visit us so often? what is their message/goal/objective? are they living with us?

or, simply, why is earth the only known planet with breathable air and so much water?

I am rapidly approaching the century mark, but I have so many questions.

Tough road game in the tough part of the season with no bye week to recover until near the end of the season for a team that is overachieving despite losing key players in the off-season and having to start so many 1st and 2nd year players and in the first year of a new offensive system and with a new defensive coordinator. Wah wah wah. Football is more than X’s and O’s….

The key is to hold tight to the run and shoot concepts, however, that has not been the case especially the last three games. The coaches know better than me so we have to trust them to make the right decisions. The rhythm of the game appears to change whenever the play calling goes away from the run and shoot. I think the answer is staying committed to an offensive philosophy and adjust within the offense.

noticed, again, that UH did “zero” substitution for the OL that has played every down the past 8 games — being hit for all those games must surely affect the physical abilities we saw in the first 3 games — 2nd level not ready to step up? why?

QB sacks and hurries must take a tole on McDonald — UH right side was no match for BYU DL
