The least of our concerns, but I hope someone coaches them up on matching colors. The two sides seemed to be wearing the other’s pants.

More importantly. .. great to see a quick set of receivers. Reminiscent of a Bess/Grice-Mullins attack.

Great pictures as usual ST! Go Warriors!

We have a group of 50 fans going to the Army road game in September; if you want to join us text me at 415-324-0585. We have sideline seats whereas the visitors team seating is in the end zone right behind the goal posts!

Above is for #68 on the OL

  7. H-Man April 29, 2018 7:10 pm

#68 is red-shirt freshman Ra Elkington from Kahuku H.S. Ra plays behind JR Hensley at left guard (for now) and is listed at 6′ 5″/350. He is the biggest O-lineman listed, but just eyeballing the O-linemen, JR looks just as big. JR is easily the biggest of the starting five and moves pretty good.

Thanks H-Man he’s definitely a big boy. Did Hensley get bigger? I don’t remember him being as big as he looks this year in a good way.

Hope the NFL gives Diocemy a chance. I dont know why he didnt even get a free agent look yet.

Hensley was a beast! All of those guys looked bigger, faster, stronger! Tavai looks like a demi-god! Furuta and Chung are big hitters – they will run at or away from you!

Hensley was bigger too, he played well.

They have the guys for both sides of the ball.

DPK, yeah, Furuta and Chung are really big loads and I think Furuta might be the starting RB. He is a big surprise for me. The other surprise for me is Blessman Ta’ala at the nose. Looks like he will anchor the D-Line and only a freshman.

    H-Man –
I agree about Furuta and Chung. Very strong runners both. The RBs as a group offer speed and power. Some of the nicest” katooshes” were delivered by the RBs, blocking and carrying the ball.

E kala mai – I meant to say above that Hendrie looks like a beast, too. Big and athletic. The more game time he gets, the better.

One of my takeaways from the fling was the tremendous engagement the team had with the public. You don’t know a guy like Tavai until you’ve seen him playing catch with elementary aged kids – pure sweetness!
