Instead, we should put out headlines. We won’t waste time playing mainland games with 200 people, because we can make money staying home. Show the fans respect and gratitude. Oh yeah, and make $$$.

UH has no idea how to build a fanbase. 10,000+ people watching UH games for free is a heck of a lot better than getting $60+ for a few hundred (OUTSIDE of the core fans) people.
Learn from the best businesses. You only charge high prices when you can guarantee deliver an entertaining product.
It’s 2018, get real.

Oh and by the way, why are the volleyball teams not playing every game in Hawaii? We are the only vball team that makes money in NCAA. Why bother going to play on the mainland? Not like the NCAA respects UH in the tournament anyway. Stay home and maximize profits. People need to start thinking about this.
