In the 6 wins UH had that year, they looked like a top 25 team. But in 5 of the 6 losses, they looked really bad. I still believe alot of the troubles that year had to do with the loss to BYU (41-38 i think) in week 1. UH had that game won, but a drop pass in the end zone and missed FG gave BYU life and energy to drive down the field and kick a FG for the win.
