Just not our season. “If this team didn’t have bad luck, they’d have no luck at all”

Delay killed the team’s momentum and gave Fresno State coaches time to see what Hawaii was doing and coach up their players.

Proud of the team spirit and not giving up

And the Tsaiko tailgate was exceptional. Sorry we missed you Dean and Juliette. One more chance to show up and join the hardcore Tsaikos, gang.

Go Warriors
Go Wahine
Go Bows

I can’t let it go.

The only bone I have to pick with Coach Rolovich is that he invited Lou Holtz to spring practice.

I’ll just leave it at that.

Let’s not forget Boise State offensive coordinator Zak Hill.

If Hill was Hawaii’s OC, we’re not having this dialogue.

Kevin Lempa departs. A wily capable experienced coach, leaving a void in three spots D.C., DB Coach and can only assume still mentoring Coach Scanlon. Big adjustment followed.
Tupac and Taylor depart. Fred U-P is out of spring and has an injury riddled year. Had an effect on an already shallow OL.
KT KG and JT dismissed/suspended. Had an effect on an already undermanned DL.
Give game to Wyoming because “we got a little too cute”
Gave game to Nevada with a ridiculous sequence of penalties and miscues.
Coach Chris Naole abruptly resigns causing distraction and disruption.
Losing Ursula and Unga as weapons with a group to thin to replace the talent.
Well deserved disciplinary suspensions for several games dating back to UCLA game.
All this adds up to a perfect storm and it did not help losing strong positive personalities that influence all teams Leo K and RJ Hollis.
We can recuperate from all of this, and I believe that members of this team and staff will remember all of things that occurred all of the missed opportunities and rebound from this lost year.
So there had my say and this is not making excuses but teams do have situations like this and the real mark will be the strength of the rebound. I have total faith in Coach Rolovich and a lot of these kids putting it solidly behind them very soon whether it be in the next few weeks or next season but it will wind up in the rear view mirror as an ugly reminder or what coulda/shoulda been-GoWarriors!!!!!

Just about every game, including the opener against UMASS, He has been literally outcoached. His Defensive Coordinator and his entire Defenseive coaches most definetley need to be replaced, “pronto” after this season is over.
Rolo’s playbook whether he is calling the plays or not – “STINKS.” In more than a few games, our Warriors were down by as much as 3 touchdowns, and he still keeps Dru Brown in there and not giving his back-up a chance. The back-up keeps on warming the bench and sucking wind. An experienced Div one head coach, will not hesitate to bring in his back-up into the game. Rolo might say he is not ready. I say pure baloney. They all trained during the spring, fall opening training than every week preparing for a game, all backup just don’t simply sit on the side during practice, I am sure they are involved with getting to know the playbook.
Your at Aloha Stadium, watching your warriors fall behind again (the Warrior Defense has been so bad), and watching the same running plays to the same person, yet we are down by more than two touchdowns. Like many others, we simply leave and not stay for till the end of the game.
I say again, Rolo’s offensive play book “stinks.”: It is very bored to say the least.
If he doesn’t improve next year, I hope David Matlin (UHAD) start looking for his replacement. Maybe Rolo needs to read Former Hawaii Coach Dick Tomey’s book, The Rise of the Rainbow Warriors.” Read about how to be a “real Division one coach. Right now, he is simply not qualified. Just about every game, Rolo and his staff has been outcoached.
I am so pissed off now – I would call the Firing of Nick Rolovich.

If your team is a low mid-major, these are good words to live by.
