Clyde #40: It’s not like there aren’t any wealthy people living in Hawaii. Appreciate what the Ching Family has done for UH and the community. On the other hand UH just doesn’t know how to approach and connect with these individuals. UNLV’s football complex even has a barber shop. Geez, they don’t even have a barber on the UH Manoa campus.

I can kind of see why Rolo wanted Chevan to start. The sole reason was because of the way that SJSU’s Josh Love was playing, especially after the way SJSU gave Boise State all they handle. Not to mention, because of Cole’s performance against Fresno, especially where he only threw for 50 percent of his passes, especially the errant passes he dealt with (And missed).
And with the chance to a bowl game at risk, it was clear and evident that Rolo didn’t want to suffer another disappointing loss and make the road even more difficult, especially to a semi-losing team (And possibly a bowl contender). There’s no line in the sand, but at this point, thanks to the SJSU victory, with losses from Fresno and SDSU, there’s still hope for us now to be back in conference championship contention. At that point, all they need is one more win to qualify for a bowl berth, and maybe more for Rolo’s 2nd winning season.
Hopefully, luck will be on their side against UNLV, in which won’t be easy, much like in Reno, in which they haven’t won in 2007. But if the defense can continue to get stronger and better after this, they might have a chance to win.

No easy games left for Warriors. Every game will be tough and close. Coming down the homestretchie, does the Warriors turn on the adrenaline or fold like a poker hand? If they want the divisuin crown, it is there and they will determine their destiny. Will watch and follow their destiny

Thru 10 games our leading tackler have only 50 tackles. That is not a good numbers. Then 4 of the next 5 tacklers are dbs and one DE.

Our weak link this season seems to be the LBs. They should be the main tacklers and play makers. The line’s job is to take up blockers so the LBs can clean up. There seems to be lack of a big play LB like Tavai.
I hope Penei, Darius Muasau and Isiah Tufaga will be the 3 LBs next season. They all have size and speed. Matautia does not seems to have much foot speed and Pritchard is more of a inside LB type and does not possess sideline to sideline speed. Paul Scott can run but he is a little on the small side.
