This is the popularity gap between the NFL and MLB.

I had no problem finding a Jahlani Tavai highlight package. I found multiple ones. I enjoyed the sack. I enjoyed the forced fumble at the goal line.

I can’t find Josh Rojas’ home runs as a Diamondback.

Miles Reed was awesome in defeat. He ran hard and blocked hard. He missed a flat pass catch but it was short side and might not have had much room for YAC. Keep that play on the regular rotation and use it more. But it was his horizontal jump cut on the second touchdown was unreal. Off the handoff Reed aimed for the C-RG hole. He quick cut (seemed designed) to the opposite guard then got to outside LT and quick cut vertically, then scored. Unreal. I hope Rolovich has another jump cutting RB on his recruiting list. That and a blocking “hammer” big FB/RB. nice to have a jump cut back like San Diego St. always has.

A large problem on the long pass plays was the use of Padello. He alone makes the coverage better by applying pressure. In the Oregon St. game he rushed on almost all anticipated passing situations. That second half adjustment helped slow down Oregon St’s offensive momentum. I seen one pressure in the Washington game video. He was usually dropping back in (zone) coverage. Waste time. He needs to rush. I hope there will be some adjustment with Padello’s use or maybe develop another rush disruptor by mid-season. The coverage was not bad except for the Huskies first touchdown. Eason seemed very comfortable and able to stare down/check down targets without worry. Gotta adjust. Can do.
