I think it’s more likely that Huff spoke to the BYU players(who upset Texas A & M) in regard to transferring.

Hawaii gets to avenge that horrific loss today. What I remember most about that game was the Aggies team trainer, who quietly heckled Kalei Adolpho every time she stepped to the line. After each miss, he would mock derisively, “Aloha.”

A couple of the names in the previous Beat listed 2 coaches who have 2 years head coaching defense and their defense sucked. OSU & San Jose so it’s a lateral move from Legi. So why are the claiming Legi didn’t have enough experience?

Best of luck to Jones and Glanville. The pro game better suits them compared to college. Too many restrictions and standards to adhere to, in addition to recruiting being the life and breath of any college program.

Wow…so the pair that left tickets for Elvis at Houston stadium ride together again? The man in black wants to coach again. JJ is looking to make coaching interesting again, as well as shore up a defense.

Jerry Glanville is the most colorful and over-qualified coach I have ever seen in person. He will do fine, especially if he can waive and activate players. Glanville may be too intense as a DC for Hawaii, but he’d put fans in the stands. So would the friendly MacMakin. sigh.

Jeff Reinbold bled green a long time after leaving Hawaii. He left a job in NFL Europe to be a graduate assistant under JJ and Glanville…it was the place to be, he said. So Reinbold was just fired as a Defensive Coordinator, huh? Wonder if his name is in the hat? That would be fine with me.
