Re: #26 – KITV’s 10pm News is a 60 minute broadcast so the sports report with Brandi Higa comes on around 10:40pm. They do a good job of covering UH, high school, local and national sports including locals in the pros.

Good, good pick up. We are lucky to get a hitter like this. Last years defense was so lacking in exciting, big time hitting. To me the hardest hits (tackles) were from Zeno last season. His size to impact ratio reminds me of Niko Vitale and Nate Jackson. Maybe he wont be good in deep coverage (for now) but he will be a versatile piece that will compliment Mautautia and Tavai. I wouldn’t want to get hit from him (at any position not only as a returner because he seems to “assplant” people randomly) on special teams coverage. Hope is injury is fully healed.

there is a solemnness in the air and I thought of Florida Ted whom we met at a Golden Corral in Orlando, Florida when UH played Florida.

he drove nearly 2 hours from his home and met with the A-House family, BigHiloFan and his family, Mark Takai, Chawn_cut, and ??? — seems like I left a name or two out

we had a grand time just getting to know him personally, talking Warrior football, and discussing his book which was to be published soon, but never did because of his passing.

When all said and done betting Warriors finish in upper half of MW in recruiting and probably in the 80’s nationally. Not good enough yet but not even close to desperate. Last years class was pretty good compared to years past-this year will be better yet. Not sure of the accuracy of this but according to 247 Time had PAC 12 offers and MW offers-getting smoked or smokin sumthin! GoWarriors!!!!

#40 – I realize that you have your opinion. However the coaches probably relied on the opinion of a man who has four Super Bowl rings. After playing 13 years in the NFL, his opinion might be almost as valid as yours. Can’t blame the coaches for believing in Sapolu’s opinion, even though the young man is his namesake.

Not impressed with this JC kid. Didn’t play DB in high school and last year he redshirted. UH is just desperate for players. He’s gonna get smoked playing safety in the mountain west.
