CG . . . I get where you are coming from, but I strongly believe the its those that still support have the best claim to demand change.

Ah, kev-1. The voice of reason, always. A Grease was just kind of pointing to how we just got off the election season . . . and that fans can easily vote with their dollars whether to still attend or not. If attendance goes way down, UHAD may ignore like nothing’s happening; deep down, he will know that it sends a strong message.

At this time . . . I make a long-distance dedication to Coach Chow. Adele’s Skyfall (yes, the James Bond movie theme) . . . because it starts with, “This is the end . . .” http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x109m6q_adele-skyfall-007-james-bond_music

Can we send Bond after Chow? Bwahahaha, joke, joke.

It is entertainment. If UH admin is unwilling or unable to buyout chow’s contract, then it is only natural the fans will stay away. Why pay and use your hard earned money to watch a substandard product? The strongest message someone can send to any business is don’t buy their product. I hope this is a teaching and learning lesson to the power brokers that influence the decision makers at UH. Next time a HC is chosen, make sure to do your HW before choosing someone to be the HC.

I look forward to the 2017 football season because of the change it will bring.

It is apathy. They now just don’t care. Watching the game at a sports bar, fans were more interested in watching Marcus Mariota lead Oregon to another win. Or watching Alabama tussle with LSU.
Even the post game radio show echoed disgust. More and more fans have given up and will readily stay away from the games. The inability to rally anyone willing to raise buyout monies shows just how low the program has descended. We don’t have the dollars and the coach is not a quitter. It’s time to make a move, but none will. Stalemate.

I am critical of the coach, but never wavered in my support of the TEAM. That gives me the right to say I want a change. Supporters should be entitled to a product that they are satisfied paying to watch.

You COULD send a message by not attending games and/or not pruchasing the PPV. But, oh, wait, you need your tailgate, right?

Send the message. Don’t support. Don’t let the whole, “oh, wait, what about the student-athletes?” Now’s not the time to let things get in the way. Stop supporting UH football. You’d be HELPING them.

Norm Chow: 6-28 (in 3rd season)

UH not being able to buy out Chow’s contract may be true. But, that never stopped UH admin from spending money.

Examples:

Wonder blunder.
Lawyers hired to help UH admin with the Wonder blunder.
Firing of Gib Arnold
Firing of Tom Apple

Who really is in charge at UH? It sounds like the power brokers at UH mentioned in an article is anyone who can push their weight around can influence the decisions of the AD and UH president.

Like it or not, this same type of approach to UH is here to stay at the upper campus and at the athletic department.

Here’s hoping that 2017 football season will be better than under Chow’s era.

Chow should resign to show some Aloha for Hawai’i and the team. He should do it now, so the successor search can begin.
