I was trying to suggest a way for UH to retain revenue if many teams/conferences decide to cancel games. California State universities said their schools won’t open for the fall semester. No one knows exactly how it will all play out. Either they’re going to have a season or refund my money for paid season tickets. No, it’s not going to be a donation.

That’s just asking for UH athletics to sell their soul to the devil. Singling our football program to only 5 games is unfair and a pedestrian thing to do. All the other schools might as well do that as well if we’re to do something like that.

We’re already facing a financial hole and we deserve better than this!

What needs to happen is that we can’t give up hope and pray that at least a vaccine will be ready before college football does their fall training camp and begins their seasons. Just giving up shows weakness and allowing the coronavirus fears to grow.

Maybe we can think of a 5-game season; all games at Aloha Stadium – Nevada, New Mexico St, Boise St, New Mexico Lobos and UNLV. With the low attendance, it should be easy to maintain the 6-ft social distance amongst the fans. I think checking visiting players and staff is manageable. Fly in the ointment is whether those schools will have reopened and organized to play a modified season.

Well…good news for the football team. Stovall looks like will be given a second chance to rejoin with the football team by Todd Graham’s approval. Strange to consider especially after what Rolo did by releasing him after the Air Force game. Now our receiving corp is on lock and load with him, Victor, Noa, Smart, Mardner and Phillips on hand. Of course, we do have some solid newcomers coming in Quin Bright, Tamatoa Mokiao-Atimalala, Riley Wilson, Zion Bowens, and Calvin Turner. I wonder how many WRs we could be seeing utilized in Todd Graham’s Run-and-Gun offense.
