Highest we’ve been in some time.

I don’t ascribe much to the rankings, but the coaches poll does give some credence to what kind of threat other coaches think Hawaii is.

Go Warriors.

Currently Boise State is ranked #16 nationally on AP polls and #15 on the coaches polls, and if they win this game and here on out, in my opinion, they should be in the College football playoff “the dance.” If not, one of a major bowl appearance. However, should Hawaii win and go on to win the rest of their scheduled opponents, it might send them an invitation to one of the major bowls. and a crack into the top #25 ranking. Last time the Warriors cracked the AP College Football national ranking was in 2007, at #15 under the helm of Coach June Jones. The Hawaii Warriors at that time beat Boise State 39-27 in Aloha Stadium, Halawa, Oahu, in 2007. During that match up, Boise State came in ranked at #19 while Hawaii was ranked at #15 at the time. under the helm of Coach June Jones. Hawaii Football Warriors ended up with a record of 12-1 and a loss to University of Georgia Bulldogs in the All State Sugar Bowl 2008.

Kinda funny. I had to look up to see who Wyoming played that weekend – UNLV. BTW, the score was Wyoming 53, UNLV 17.
