There are so many variables that come into play with team sports. If everyone does their assignments, the play works “just like it was drawn up”. To try and assign the failure of a play to one person is difficult.
We have coaches because they know the intricacies of a team and play. Me, I’m a decent armchair QB. Still want my Warriors to play smart, play hard and play like a Warrior!

Yes, that Andre Morgan. He has fond memories of being a Rainbow.

Meanwhile, good luck to the Warriors. Play hard, play together and don’t let doubt into your mind, whatever the situation! Mind concieves, heart believes, body achieves!

GO WARRIORS!!!

It might be a little difficult for him to give a pep talk about fighting through the pain and grind during the 4th quarter. He is probably there more for support if someone is having a bad day.

Rolo said that QB was not the issue. He was fine with the QB play.

You’re right though. Majority of the calls appear to be nice calls. Maybe it’s easier ranting on this blog than actually confronting Rolo on issues such as “fire the DC” or “the db’s are too slow.”

Hawaii fans are probably nicer than most fans around the country.

So, they have to let an ex-player give the pep talk, what is wrong with that picture?

Too much feel good talk; little if any hard questions. People afraid to be cast as negative.

So we either stay and support, or we leave! If we stay we just gotta “Plan for the worst and Hope for

the Best”

———–
17. That is exactly correct. Hawaii football is simple.

1. If you like Hawaii football, go to the game and watch.
2. If you don’t like it, don’t go.
3. If you want to support the team, support the team.
4. If you don’t want support the team, don’t.

In year 3 and 4, we’ll know if Rolo and the bows are successful in the win column. The school and state budget won’t change so why suggest things we cannot change such as bringing back past coaches. There is no way any coach would take a pay cut to coach here unless they have deep pockets and want to retire here.

Hawaii wins games and then loses again. We just hope they have more wins than losses at the end of the season.

The Rolo era feels a lot better than the Von Appen or Chow era. At least there is a sense of hope before every game.
