Going to Portland for an Amway convention at the old arena that hosted the Trailblazers.

Approaching the parking lot, I remember that “Kiss Them For Me” by Siouxsie and the Banshees was playing on the van radio, and I’m thinking: How did I end up here? I’m a liberal.

You look at all 6 feet, 2 inches and 225 pounds of running back Hekili Keliiliki and wonder how he could have, in anybody’s words, “fallen through the cracks.”

Or, maybe finding the BEST 5 to start.
