The best battle was between wideout Ammon Barker and cornerback Zach Wilson. Hope Barker will be that #1 receiver that we need, and Wilson is a Dawg his nickname should be Scrappy!

Dawei, you should probably ask your tour coordinator about a Waikiki special bus service for the game, but there is a shuttle bus service from Ala Moana Shopping Center. It’s available to anyone. No need ID card. These are yellow school buses (kinda small seats/no air-con) that are operated just for the UH home games. I’ve never used the service from Ala Moana so I can’t tell you exactly where this service is located. I use the service from Leeward Community College and its $2 round trip. The fare from Ala Moana is probably higher because of distance; maybe $5 round trip. These are the two locations where this shuttle service is established. It is not operated by the university, nor the city or state, so no use calling them for more information. The location for the return trip to catch the school bus service is centrally located just outside the stadium on Salt Lake Blvd. Easy to find since there will be two lines of yellow buses; one for Ala Moana and one for Leeward CC. No need to rush. Many, many buses. No need for ticket. Just get in the right line or you might end up at Leeward CC.

Great advice from defensive coordinator Legi Suiaunoa–he sounds like Head Coach material.

Did they kick any FG’s during this scrimmage; any word on our kickers?

Since Cole McDonald is a great runner, how about we utilize Cole in an option offense for goal-line situations (like JJ did with Shawn Withy-Allen)–since the passing is limited in these situations, we need to use the QB as an extra weapon here! This will also be a surprise element to opponents; and also a moral booster for the backup players, who know how to play this offense!

Wondering if anyone’s heard about football express shuttles from Waikiki to Aloha Stadium this year. Roberts runs a lot of buses but none from Waikiki.

I was impressed w/ the defense, DB coverage was a tighter man to man. The D is aggressive and are flying for the ball. Warriors come out to PPPLLLLAAAYYYYY!!!!

Larry Tuileta didn’t show any signs of rust. I would say he is in contention for the back-up spot. And the running game showed strong including newbies Reed and Dale.
