So what do you folks think will happen to them? Will they receive punishment from Rolo for this? If so, how extensive will their punishment be?

Based on the information, the players (Tavai and Chung) reacted to a situation of a woman being abused in public by a male. Props to both of them, in my book. Would have been disappointed had they simply walked away, not getting involved. Don’t see what they did wrong, but that’s just me and I ain’t no fast talking lawyer.

I remember years ago when some guys from a local MMA Gym came on campus looking to “scrap with someone.” They came across some UH football players and instigated a fight resulting in them getting lickens, but a UH O-lineman got suspended for fighting back.

Unfortunately, both Tavai and Chung will receive some level of punishment, but it sounds like they were responding to the aid of a woman who was pushed to the ground by someone other than them. So two “defenders” of the woman got caught in the middle.

These two players are heroes!! Glad they came to aid a defenseless woman. Who knows how much worst it could have been if they didn’t get involved.

What’s with the sniling Chung mugshot? Please tell me what they showed on TV is Warrior football stock photo or something.

No damn class. Here we go again. Football Warrior arrests before the season starts. Countdown begins . . . 🙄

    * smiling

And guys, no matter what, you don’t embarras the program. That means not smiling in a mugshot.

Let’s wait until more of the story comes out. I trust HPD, who would have not arrested these guys if self defense was evident.

Stay OUT of thr darn night clubs, Warriora. I WORK and I don’t have money to easte on nightclubs—how the hell THEY getting their money? Do we smell SCANDAL? Come on, lower campus!

Would be nice to know what “easte” means.

What a country, we confine deluded minds to institutions yet allow them internet access for 15 minutes a day. Guess they had to take turns.

“Waste.” “Waste on nightclubs.” Happy? Hey you missed “Warriora 🙄.

Yeah and I know what you mean by “confine deluded minds to institutions”; you sure sounds like you’re of ‘em. How else would you know about the 15 minutes allowed? I sure as heck didn’t know that one.

Today’s article says the lady was allegedly knocked down in the nightclub while the altercation between the 2 players and the man and his three friends occurred outside the club. They could have called the police instead of getting into trouble outside the club. Or maybe it was a continuation of what was happening inside the club ?
Also, why wasn’t that other man arrested at the time ?

Unfortunately all of the facts regarding this incident are not known. Passing judgement and conclusion jumping good or bad should remain in reserve. I am sure I am not alone in hoping that the off season would be incident free-guess not.
On another note in recent photos by Stephen, Kohl Levao appeared. He looks a whole lot different from a recruiting picture that had appeared earlier. Kohl is listed as 6-5 300 plus. He appears to have converted some of that mass. If my impression is correct Coach Rolovich may have found a huge under the radar prospect. I sure hope so
Anyway hope this situation with Tavai and Chung is resolved with little or no repercussions. Big fan of both of those guys! GoWarriors!!!!!

hopefully the charges get dropped on all sides and it becomes a non-issue.
