Crazy to fire Vogel. To me it is like Bulls firing Thibs. Now everyone wants more offense and to be like Golden State but you gotta have the players and everyone forgets that GS is pretty good defensively. Pacers will miss him

Noah Allen was deemed by a Power 5 conference as somebody worth recruiting. That is good enough for me. Hawaii had great-to-middling success with Nebraska transfer Christian Standhardinger and USC transfer Davis “You Should Have Taken the City Bus” Rozitis. The guy whom Keith Shamberger seemed to despise was considerably better than the other seven footers who suited up for UH. He did more than just stand there and be tall.

Allen’s numbers are misleading.

With extended minutes, Manroop Clair had a decent season for Seattle U., scoring twenty or more points three times this season against WAC competition.

Allen could turn out be our leading scorer.

I appreciate all of our recruits who chose Hawaii under these circumstances.

I believe in Ganot.

I believe in Beeman.

I hope the defection of Megan Huff will galvanize the Na Wahine, like the men when Isaac Fleming departed.

What else is Ganot going to say? That Allen is a warm body to fill out the roster? And you are only worried now about next season? Not gonna be another 28 win year and no one should expect that. Rebuilding year. Takes time. If team is competitive that will be positive. The following year is when we start to see where we are. I, for one, like the recruits so far. They all seem like good fits for Ganot’s system. Only takes one or two players to impact a bb team so I will wait and see and trust the staff

Noah Allen is a great player? his stats are almost zero in all his years at UCLA. coach is going to have to get some way better players than this if UH is even going to be competitive next year. i don’t know about you but i’m getting very worried about the coming season. may be a first to worst.

Finally i was getting worried there about not having any post/height players to complement the plethora of guards. Recruit at least two more low post players and i think UH will have competitive season next year.
