In reply to jjay. Currently one scholarship available Jjay. That could change if Gib decides to make any other roster moves among the seven scholarship returnees. I would be shocked if they don't pick up another player (maybe more than one) this period.

i’m glad that gib spends time studying recruits. even if we used all the scholarships good to keep an eye out, cause stuff happens. once you get satisfied and stop looking you fall behind. sometimes takes years to catch up.

Sorry to hear of Bo leaving, but understand wanting to play closer to family. He has alot of upside and would have been a threat behind the arc after Zane leaves.

Odunsi might be a longshot. Sounds like the motivating factor for him is guaranteeing playing time and I’m not sure if Gib is willing to do that.

DeShawn Mitchell sounds like a good grab. We’ll see tho…

Brian, is the coaching staff expecting to sign another player, if that’s the case are there any scholarships available or do we expect more movement from current roster?

Oh no …. Bo gone? He was an exciting player to watch when he had a hot hand. His quick releases and long bombs enabled the team to pull away in close games. This was part of the personality of this team and without Bo this important part will be missing. The team will have to rely mainly on Zane Johnson to provide the three pointers, unless a new recruit fills this role.

With u and jeff p following the team great updates !!!Will the rest of the players play in summer teams how will they get bettter?.When will they go to china? Will anyone else leave? UH manoa moves at a slow pace why? coach makes 300m/ pitino makes 7 mil and loses to morehead st.

That would be great if the contract concerns could be addressed expeditiously, I want Coach Gib to be here as long as possible. We don’t want other teams to be able to take advantage of the tenuous contract talks in by placing some doubt in future recruits’ minds. Right now, sky’s the limit. I wish Bo well at his next school. It’ll be interesting to see what they do with the scholarship that Bo freed up; seems at least 3-4 players covet it, including Tavita who may be on the outside looking in.
