I thoroughly enjoyed the alumni game and was so moved by the experience of watching these players, whose time as a UH player was undoubtably one of the most special of their lives, back on the court being cheered on by their old fans and their families. I hit my “big time fan” stage in the late 90’s-early 2000’s, when I was in high school and a student at UH, so cheering on Kalia McGee, Justice Sueing, Eric Ambrozich, Phil Martin… last night also took me back to that memorable time in my life. Thank you for the opportunity to see some of my favorite players back in action! I hope this will be an annual tradition. Any way to make the time closer to UH game time? Or even make it a post-UH game game to get a bigger crowd?

Let’s not jump the gun on Taylor yet. If he does well rest of the season and in playoff, he’ll be the front runner for the job. If not, UH pays the most, or near the top, in conference for the position and they will attract many worthy candidates, including many who, I feel, will be better than Taylor.

Give credit to Coach Taylor for getting the alumni game. This helps to solidify our current players as to the significance of playing for the University of Hawaii. We have so many returning players with Nevels being the only senior. Can you imagine how good this team will be next year. Please give CoachTaylor a multiyear contract.
