Megan Huff is expected to make the New York Liberty roster. She is part of a B+ draft grade according to ESPN.com’s Michelle Voepel.

For two years, I watched her, aided by the comment by a poster, I could see that she was the most talented player on the team. If you go to the games, you know this for a fact. Missed shots can sometimes go awry in the most comical way possible. A mother of a player once scowled at me. Because IT IS funny. If you don’t laugh, you’ll get angry, and not show up to the games. Huff, when she would miss shots, always hit iron.

Raider, the bigs were freshmen and not quite ready for primetime though Dawson Carper, a true freshman, did play a good amount of minutes down the stretch when the matchups were right. In his last 7 games, Carper averaged 12.4 minutes per game, with highs of 15 minutes in 3 of those games and 20 minutes in one game. The facts don’t agree with your assessment.

umm, no thank you for Ganot and crew. That tells you something. A player leaves after a couple years in college and thanks his high school coach…lol
Ganot has got to go already. He’s losing more players than he’s bringing in. Not a good sign for things to come. I’m tired of this mediocrity frame of mind in the Big west sports programs. Ya that includes you too Trapasso.

We recruit so many bigs but don’t use them. Maybe we should just recruit 5’10” and under seems we can’t get anyone anyway. It seems we don’t have a plan or maybe its time to reevaluate the coaching position. Poor recruiting, poor scheduling Equals no one in the stands. Not even the student come anymore and they live right up the hill not worth the effort to come down.

Megan Huff moved up in the draft. 26th pick. She was originally projected to go to Connecticut at 33, then to Indiana at 29. New York-bound. Amazing. I’m sure she’ll do well.

Morgan Bertsch was drafted. Good for the Big West. She is one of three players from a non-Power 5 school to be selected. The other two came from Buffalo and South Dakota State.

Judy Mosley, Christen Roper(made roster, then cut before the season started), Amy Sanders.

I think the commitments of Noah Allen and Zigmars Raimo were not announced until May, so getting good players this late is not unheard of. mine that transfer portal, coach! we don’t need anymore freshmen this year!

Yeah….dude showed some animosity. Didn’t have the class to thank former teammates or former coaches. If you are going to name and you choose to leave out your most current people, you doing it on purpose.

Lost a lot of respect for the dude. Should have been the better man and thanks his Hawaii teammates and coaches. Didn’t have to single out Ganot . Just thanking his teammates would have suffice.
