Warriors are getting noticed with 3 votes in the Associated Press (AP) and four in the Coaches poll. I predict, UH Warriors will be 6-0 before they go up against a formidable opponent in Wyoming, but this game will be at home in Aloha Stadium. Don’t get me wrong, Army an San Jose are good programs, but the run & shoot will outrun the two programs when we face them. Can’t wait until the Warriors come up here to San Jose where we can see them in action on 29 Sept 18. Warriors 42-24 over the Owls. Go Warriors! Cheeehooo!

Frame of mind. Offense try and score 60. Defense play for a shutout. Remember we were 17 point underdogs and won.

The team got some votes, but there’s a lot of people that think zero of UH (look at % of voters that have not voted for UH). Don’t believe the media hype, as always. They only tell you where you were, and where you might be if it was fantasy land. But where you are is what counts.

You have to trust your eyes and see what’s happening. McDonald is a huge revalation the way he has been running the offense and executing. Same for the offensive line and the rest of the cast. On defense, more consistency is needed. There have been many situations of lapses in concentration and poor tackling. I haven’t been this excited since 2007 and I can see the possibilities of a special season IF the health of the team is pretty much in tact and the team improves further. If the offense keeps up and scoring in bunches there is no reason why UH can’t have a chance to win every game. To actually win, however, I still say that it will come down to how the defense plays. Defense wins championships. That said, this week, Warriors 55, Owls 20. Go Warriors!
