who’s jumping ship? if walkons get better playing opportunities, they should go. they are walkons and probably won’t affect the season except to provide practice players. guys like innocent observer have been saying for years, and probably hope, that this is the beginning of the end for Gib. the jokes on them.

It’s very concerning that Sammis hasn’t gotten cleared to play. I hope Michael Thomas has grown a couple more inches and put on more muscle because it looks like he’s going to get lots of minutes this season.

looks like uh basketball is in trouble, not only with the ncaa but it players are jumping ship, etc. this is the beginning of the end for gib.

If Sammis cannot get into Hawaii by fall, that is a big blow for UH and a very thin front line.
Think Gib has to do almost some magic, scour the planet for possibly two bigs, or great all around SF’s who can defend and score. Possibly offer one the scholarship, the other as preferred walkon, with hope is Sammis does not make it to Hawaii this year, that scholarship could be his.. a work in progress grinder, with some skill..
Still hope that Sammis can make it by August school start…get that ncaa clearing house or paper work done…
