Looking forward to watching this team this year. Last year was their best year in a long time. Heen is a stud, and some of these young hitters look good. Dino threw a no-hitter including three shutouts as a freshman last year behind Hitchcock. She is solid. Not sure who else will pitch behind her.

An interesting point you bring up, mainly because there’s no seniors on the pitching core. Klee and Martinez are both juniors, but Dino being a sophomore, I would be skeptical with what she is able to do in this season. I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but I’m sure Bob is going to find ways of adapting to this issue. Hopefully, this is the right way to go for the 2020 season.

Gandia-Mak is noticeably not mentioned (right field), but freshman Nakamura will take her spot. I am surprised since Gandia-Mak, I thought, would be the lead-off batter. Also looks like Mama Rivera not starting at third, but Ofoia will take that spot. Another surprise.

Looking forward to a great season! Will miss Lopez but hope Cheeks and Rossi can fill in that hitting power behind Heen! What will be key to our season will be the pitching. Dino was showing promise but didn’t have the finish of Hitchcock.
