It’s easy to speculate on someone’s life without any facts. The facts on Jacobsen’s exit may not be known for awhile but the only thing for the team to do is to move on.

Some people are just not cut out to live here. Jacobsen did his best to make it work for him and his family and but he probably have the urge to return home or closer to home.

To announce his intention to leave even before for he is assured another job is kind of telling. He wants to leave more than he wants to coach here. Most people don’t quit a job he/she loves before finding another job. Would miss out on a year’s worth of salary

At this late stage, best thing to do is move everybody up one slot. Montgomery to Associate, Jabari Trotter to be second assistant and maybe find a young up and comer at the 3rd assistant.

Well that depends on where he goes. If he goes to somewhere in San Francisco, LA then I wouldn’t say that would be that case since it’s actually more expensive to live there.

I’m just reading between the lines but Hawaii economics here are to blame, I think so.
Too bad. We’re going have to get used to this for years to come.
