I was one of those folks who mistakenly thought UH would be in the running to win the cup after some of the spring sports teams performed so well. Now I see how the benefits of those performances were effectively erased by the last place or near last place finishes by UH’s other spring sports teams. Obviously balance is what pays off in this particular competition.
