K-Bay, yes Gib and UH MBB program appear to be headed upwards. towards, hopefully a Gonzaga, Butler, St Mary’s level, and in the future years, maybe even higher.

Enjoy your posts, on all fronts. Yes, we been waiting, Gib has his type of athletes, and kids are buying into roles.
With Isaac Fleming 6’4″ 200 combo guard, Stefan Jankovich 6’11” hybrid 4/5, and Negus Webster-Chan 6’7″ 200+ (and getting bigger, stronger), all 3 star recruits out of HS, the recruiting is getting better. UH is an exciting team to watch.

Teams Get Better AND WORSE
Last Year Hawai’i Went UP and DOWN from a High of 246th (Worst)
to a Low of about 186 (Out of 351 D-1 Programs)
STRICTLY LOWER Half…

This Year they have Constantly Improved
From 207 At Start of The Season To #115 (Now)
That’s UPPER One-Third
AND Still Improving

In Less Than 24 hours of DHC Tourney Play
They went from Hanging With a Pretty Good Boise Team
BUT NOT Good Enough to (Find a Way to) WIN
TO Leading A BETTER (Won By 8 @ BOISE) SM Team Almost the Entire Game
AND Finding The Will to WIN (Against an Awesome Shooting Team, THREE 45% Three-Shooters))

Men’s basketball under gib arnold has shown improvement every year. better players, better product on the court, and a nice win over a quality mid major team. maybe buds4life needs to quit smoking buds and reevaluate his life.

I agree with oldtimer808 that Buds4life doesn’t know what he’s talking about. As far as I know, Hawaii beat St. Mary’s tonight. I could swear that Hawaii beat St. Mary’s when I left SSC tonite and came home to read Buds4life idiot comment. Oh, well, ……….

Another loss. The point holds on to the ball too long. The shooter can’t free up, which make me wonder what happened to the skip pass. And perhaps most striking is the Bow’s leading scorer is MIA for the 2nd time this year. Seems like the Bows get all of his game or not at all. The coaches should make it apparent that there’s more to the game than just scoring. Oh well hope for better times.
