The scheduled of opponents have been lackluster to say the least over the last five season, I’ve relinquished my season tickets this season, a difficult decision I made. With many universities/colleges out there to choose from why can’t we scheduled better games?

In reply to HawaiiMongoose. Hey Mongoose, It's a possibility; it sounds like it could go either way with that, pending ESPN pulling the trigger on another Tip-off Marathon. As we know pretty well at this point, things at the Worldwide Leader aren't the same (in terms of personnel, revenue, etc.) that they used to be. But if ESPN does it again, you can bet UH will be a part of it.

By the way Brian, is the November 13th game against Troy expected to be part of ESPN’s annual College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon (in which case we should expect a late-evening start time and national coverage)?

Excluding the exhibition game, one D-II opponent on the schedule is acceptable. Two, in my opinion, is not. I’ve been a season-ticket holder for 24 years and I intend to renew again, but not happily.

Ganot and Matlin need to make some home-and-home deals with quality western Division I opponents. PAC-12 schools may not bite but we ought to be able to get more MWC schools on the schedule.
