Some can recruit – Some can coach – Some can recruit and coach.

So far Ganot can coach to be competitive and win.

The some who can recruit is the question on Ganot.

When he continues to take the championship and get to the NCAA we will know he can do both, recruit and coach. Then he becomes a diamond that will be hard for UH to keep on its finger. But we all hope that he becomes that diamond and succeeds to his wildest dreams.

Crappie, Sudfeld is a good one. I am glad to see Bears got Howard as RB. He is a bruiser. U r right about those 3 recruits of Gib’s. Never did anything and they were his top guys. But, like I said, nuff about Gib. Hoping Ganot can restock the cupboard.

Why am I not feeling this recruit?
His goal in life was to step on every state’s turf. He had three left North Dakota, South Dakota, and well, let’s just he only has two left.

Coach Ganot should be judicious with his scholarships. He doesn’t necessarily have to use them all, does he?

I appreciate Deonte Tatum; I thought he played hard, but the last minute substitution for Riley-killer Logan Lee was probably a low-mid-major point guard. I think the other guy Wallace recruited was Kris Groce, who I have no recollection of on the court.

Mr. Hoosier, those players Gib Arnold couldn’t get into the program, never played anywhere. At the time, over the course of the next two seasons, I looked for those names.

They were really bad students.

I don’t know anything. But I wonder if this is the reason why Arnold had problems with the compliance lady.

On another note, I can’t wait to see Nate Sudfield play. I was hoping he’d go to Kansas City, as Alex Smith’s backup.

What table scraps? 3 star guard in Green who looks good. Buggs will be good and the Aussie pg looks like more than “scraps”. And do not forget Purchase. He would be playing in front of Jovanivic anyway. Two early commits back in November not exactly knee jerk. I am sure there are more guys being recruited that no one knows about. Remember, Ganot plays it close to the vest and not s lot of hype or publicity. Actually kind of like it that way. Take a breath people..,

I agree that our recruiting is a bit “knee jerk” due to the departure of the 3 inside guys, but Ganot should have known…I think Jovanovich was the surprise, as I think they expected him back. Now, it looks like we’re settling for table scraps.
