Not sure if you spoke with him or his family or know anything about this, but has he given any indication of what he think of coming home for college ball? Hopefully he saw UH’s tourney run and the buzz it created. He’s seriously talented and could be a linchpin recruit for this team in the coming seasons. It’s exciting as I feel he’s a guy we could have a legit shot at since he’s from Oahu. His size would be nice to fill the Valdes-esque combo-guard role. It seems like UH has a decent clip of smaller PG-types, with Drammeh and Niko already here and Owies+Buggs coming on. A bigger wing would be a welcome addition.

Speaking of Buggs….crazy to play through that injury. Assuming surgery soon…he probably wouldn’t be ready for the start of next season, eh? Redshirt possibility?
