I think a lot of guys you want taking the 3 because that’s a part of the offense, but other guys who might be struggling with the 3 ball more would surely benefit from taking a mid-range or floater in the lane. Buggs, for example, hasn’t been able to get his 3 point shot going in conference play, but if he works on his mid-range shot then that’s still another thing the other team has to defend. Stepteau hasn’t necessarily been hitting 3s as consistently, but his floater is a thing of beauty. Excited for Saturday’s game, and to see who shows up.

Avea needs to believe in his athletic skills when attacking the basket, dunk it or take the contact young man. I wish the team would stop relying on the 3 so much, nothing wrong with doing a pump fake and taking a mid range shot. Go Warriors!!!
