Since everything on the internet is true, I thought I’d share this.

Wendell Owens, a backup point guard on the UH basketball team that played in the 1994 NCAA Tournament, was the last player to be recruited from CCSF.

Agree; ALL Three look like solid pick-ups;
Four to play three is a good start;
Quincy would come in with More Skills than where Gee started;
i’m Pretty Sure GIB Will get at least one of the three
IF He can work the math, i wouldn’t be surprised if he got All Three
Probably First Two to commit …

I’m hoping there’s enough money in some of our Foreign Families to work out Loans, Scholarship agreements … they can’t really play college ball (degree for play) in most other countries and they Now KNOW that they can Do the School Work and Play Ball HERE…SUCCESS IS ASSURED, Not a Risk as it may have seemed before they came…

While Ozi probably can Play for Pay, His Much Bigger Life and Long-Term Goals would be realized with a degree so he can have Both Basketball Pro Career AND a Life After …

THEY MAY Be Able to Earn the Scholarship Back by Starting/Significant PT …

If they don’t get the two guys, he would be a great fit. Heck, he might be a great fit if we got lucky and picked up all three. 🙂

read you latest tweet. Qunicy would be good pick up. 4 years to play 3. He would come in to play as a sophomore. Video hilites, he is pretty athletic. We shall see. Any help in the backcourt, athletic guys, that can run team , defend and score, will help UH’s dynamic forward tandem of Christian and Isaac.

A numbers game, if Gib looking to fill possibly two spots for next season, one or two players would move on. The athletes are so cool about it. Poker faced. They don’t give even a hint of what they are going to do.

By this time , in the past 2 years, we knew pretty much who was leaving. Should be interesting. Possiblity of Davis graduation and moving on, he would be Gib’s first graduating Basketball player that he brought to Hawaii. Manroop, Ozren, potential, other candidates? Jawato, already used up RS year, so he is not going anywhere. Valdes, Dressler? We shall see.

Hope, it isn’t 3 or 4 guys that leave, that would not be good. However, Davis Rozitis and one freshman going back home to play pro ball in europe, possiblity, Who knows, we wait and see!

Hope Quincy, or maybe there is a hidden PG gem out there, will sign with Hawaii, and help team win, and go to NCAA or NIT.
