Matautia led all players at the Outrigger Invitational with a combined 12 aces during the three-match non-conference tournament. He also double-digit kills in two tournament matches, including 10 kills on a .400 attack percentage in a sweep against No. 8/8 Lewis on Thursday, as Hawai’i finished its home event in second place.

Those current 5 top 5 ranked teams could beat each other on any given week. Look out for #6 Cal Poly and #8 Long Beach St.
The 3 Big West teams are in the top “8” teams in the NCAA Beach Rankings! ( more than Pac12-East Coast teams)
I think the Hawaii vs Cal Poly vs LBSU will be very tough ones. Cal Poly is really trying to make a statement as they did in indoor this past year. They probably got the most decorated Canadian player, a Freshman, on their squad. I am very happy the BW Tournament is held here this year. Lets Go Bows!
