Houston was AVCA All-America third team in 2006, Honorable Mention in 2007, and second team in 2008. That means she was All-Region first team all three years.

The media guide has some errors. They failed to list Alicia Arnott as All-Region HM in 2004. Also, Brittany Hewitt was All-Region HM in 2011, not first team.

However, I think the parent are one of those family that encourage their kids to go away and experience life on the mainland. Kind of like the Ma’a and Shoji family. The kids can always come back home like Daryl did after going to LMU for college.

My guess is even UH recruited Jhenna, it’s unlikely she would have came any way.
