new thread up for Wednesday with Big West tournament ticket info.
8. who knows if he’ll play as a freshman. They will have the luxury to redshirt both of the incoming setters.
Size is good but it’s not everything. Sheward is 6-2 and has beat out two 6-6 guys this season.
And Worsley was amazing last season. Listed at 6-foot.

I have seen him the last two years at SSC. Two years ago with his mom and dad on the floor . Last season, I saw him walk by my seat on the lower level.

I hope he can give us that setter with size. UCLA’s 6-10 Denmark setter is not all that great. Hope Austin can bring more to the table than that guy.

It will be interesting to see if Van Eekeran decides to graduate as he is on track to do this May or stay for his master’s at Shidler.
I believe Austin Buchanan, one of the two incoming setters for next season, will be in the arena this week.

In fact, all of the reserves did well during that set. Chaz is an amazing hitter as are Filip, and Demetrius.

Hogland had a great result in night two, and I hope that that wasn’t just a one-off in terms of his abilities. I was impressed with Rosenfeld’s serving, and am feeling better that he might be able to fill the huge hole to be left by Gasman’s graduation.

We really don’t need Thelle moving there. We just need Jakob to get better as a setter.

Dimi, Cole and the incoming Greek freshman Spyros Chakas are good enough to not need Thelle to move over. Dimi and Spyros are probably Greek National Team candidates.

Out of necessity, perhaps. But with UH’s depth, I don’t see Thelle moving to another position. With UCSB, I think one of their middles got hurt early in the year. Coach McLaughlin moved an OH to middle and DeWeese to outside. I may be mistaken, but that’s what I’ve noticed. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

She would give the wahines fits indoor.
