There were two brothers, the McKibben brothers and a pair of siblings, the Cooks. Nice that players with Hawaii connections won both gold medals and that in faraway and inhospitable Qatar, the country where soccer complained about corruption in the selection process for the next World Soccer Cup in 2022. Whereas, these players didn’t grumble, just adjusted and improved.
