Wahine banquet Jan. 29, Carl McGown passes away

Men open Thursday with Erskine. Tuileta projected as starting libero but will miss Saturday due to his sister’s wedding. He’ll be performing a fire knife dance at the reception.

The Rainbow Wahine annual banquet is Sunday, January 29, at the Ala Moana Hotel’s Hibiscus Ballroom. Registration will be at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner buffet beginning at 6 followed by a program.
Tickets are $55 for Rainbow Wahine Booster Club members or $60 per person (general public). A Booster Club sponsored table is $440 (table of eight); for the general public the table will be $480 and for a corporate sponsor table the cost is $550. Fans can also make a $60 donation to sponsor a player. Late registration is January 21-26, 2017 at $65 per person. Credit cards not accepted

Sad to hear of the passing of Carl McGown, former U.S., BYU, BYUH and UH coach. The 79-year-old Hall of Famer died last Friday in Utah.
One of the best minds in the game. Also a ski instructor who kept threatening to teach me to ski. sorry I didn’t take him up on it.
