Harrison 16th in 3-meter diving at NCAA championships

University of Hawaii junior Aimee Harrison finished 16th in 3-meter diving at the NCAA Swimming and Diving championships on Friday in Greensboro, N.C.

Harrison, who placed 14th in the 1-meter on Thursday, advanced out of the 3-meter preliminaries in 13th place with a total score of 327.40. Her 316.20 placed her eighth in the B Final.

Fellow UH junior Lauren Hall finished 25th in the preliminaries with a score of 310.65.


Rainbow Wahine senior Jasmine Alkhaldi placed 42nd in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.07 in the preliminaries. Alkhaldi closes her career Saturday in the 100 freestyle.
