Warriors on fall playing trip to LA

Warriors heading out to Los Angeles Wednesday where they’ll play at four sites over three days.
USC and CSUN on Thursday, Pepperdine Friday and Long Beach State Saturday.
some of the patches are split squad so A and B teams against the opposing A and B sides.
Warriors traveling 16. Not going is Matautia, who is recovering from a leg issue
Going is Tuileta since he’s not traveling with football.

Heard from Hendrik Mol. He’s playing beach in Norway but also playing indoor in off-season. His team is in the Norwegian indoor championship.

Coach Wade just got back from European recruiting trip. He got to see Jennings Franciskovic (Moderna) against Kupono Fey (Sora) in Italy. Serie A, the top league.

Believe McKellar is playing in England where he also is in grad school.

Mentioned on previous thread was MVB schedule not released yet for spring. They were waiting on sponsors for two of the three tournaments
Outrigger is March 8-10 with BYU, Penn State and Lewis.
other home non-tournament matches have UCLA, UC Irvine, Concordia, UC San Diego and Long Beach State.

    7. Nomu. Previous post , Logan Tom was 6-1, but seemed like she was a lot taller when she played.

    Islandman, thanks regarding Logan Tom. Remember her in the Olympics, she was awesome. Kanani, Cubi-Aneli did not go to the Olympics, but you get my point. Tom is an exceptional athlete, but pretty sure everyone can remember seeing players who held their own during matches with “trees”.

    There are many talented players here and on the mainland who have much potential.

    Sorry disgree with your height assessment. The players are so much taller now. Where 6-1″ is the new 5-10″. I doubt Aneli would be as successful today. That’s applies to most major sports. Ginger Long in recent vintage is a great example. She is super talented but just too short for indoors. She had flourished on the beach though.
