Long Beach and Santa Barbara traded extended set scores, 31-29 each. They’re dead even so far before the intermission. The two games lasted altogether for an hour and 15 minutes. Like I said before, both teams are tremendous tenacious.

    2. Beach got mad all right and won set 4, 26-24.

Saw that the women’s team will travel to Hilo for practice. Don’t know whether Robyn Ah Mow will travel with them. Any update?

    Favorite moments:

Stijn’s sets to Rado. Is there anything Stijn can’t do?

Colton’s solo block in the 2nd set.

Gasman’s step out on final point.

Dalton’s well deserved twist from Colton after his awesome put down.

    Interesting Lineup Changes for Beach:

    1) Ozee/Maglio
    2) Martin/Homayun
    3) Scoles/Huddleston
    4) Loker/Napoleon
    5) Banz/Dreeuws

This team is just insane at this point. Like, I have never seen a team be so dominant, on EITHER side of collegiate volleyball, even the 2008 penn state team. Hawaii has NO weakness.

new thread up for Saturday beach tourney
    6. see new thread for that
    7. the numbers are insane.
there are weaknesses but they are very good at hiding them.
Opponents target van Tilburg on serve. G. Worsley and Cowell good at protecting him.
Hawaii’s serving can be hit or miss. Wade said last night they might have been pressing on serves.
