Small correction. DPOW went to Davis libero. Freshman award went to the Fullerton libero.

I was curious so I looked at the ballots. We must have been among the “Four teams mentioned on only one ballot for a total of 15 combined points.” LBSU’s Joy McKienzie-Feuerbringer gave us a mention at #25 on her ballot. She also voted for Cal Poly at #24.

Just win. Things will take care of themselves.

Tough season so far. Robin has to find her style and find the lineup that will offer the best chance to be successful. The players also have to adapt to her and hangs of philosophy.

So starting the season with that in mind the comfort factor isn’t there yet, which is to be expected IMO. When you have coaches and players trying to push to the level of expectations that Hawaii has enjoyed under Shoji, it isn’t going to happen instantly.

This team will find its identity, but we will have to wait until later to see what level they can take it to. That they are that close is a testimony to the desire the team has.

Be patient the best is yet to come.

KITV had a short clip with Robyn saying after examining the videos, they saw so many missed opportunities. I think that kinda sums it up for the non-conference schedule. What could have been. But there’s the conference. So Wahine, go undefeated in conference !!! Get to the NCAAs and show your stuff !!!

    1. Thank you.
    2. That was my thought as well but couldn’t find UH mentioned.
    5. yep, she did. said that they basically gave the other team the game with their mistakes. Which is encouraging for them knowing if they clean up stuff things will take care of themselves.
