The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team’s nonconference schedule will include a December road trip to Las Vegas to face Texas A&M and Oregon in the Duel in the Desert, UH announced on Wednesday.

The Rainbow Wahine face Texas A&M on Dec. 20 and Oregon on Dec. 22 at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion. Both games tip off at 10 a.m. Hawaii time.

UH will compete in the Desert Division in the six-team event. Mississippi State, last season’s national runner-up, Syracuse and host UNLV will play in the Rebel Division.

Oregon defeated UH 86-49 last November in Honolulu on its way to the Elite Eight. Texas A&M reached the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Wahine last faced Texas A&M on Dec. 4, 2015 in the Tom Weston Classic at the Cannon Activities Center in Laie. The Aggies rolled to an 82-41 win.
