VIDEO: New Mexico stops Hawaii

New Mexico stopped Hawaii 28-21 in a Mountain West Conference victory at Aloha Stadium. The loss dropped Hawaii to 4-5 for the season and 3-2 in conference play. The Rainbow Warriors would need to win three of four the rest of the way to secure an automatic bid into the Hawaii Bowl.

Woulda coulda shoulda-instead of being 5-0 and heading to SDSU the Warriors are 3-2 and heading to same. Coach Lempa said it best “we need to show up on the first snap”. My support and passion never waiver-something or someone has to get the offense playing at a level well above where it is at. Regardless or not if they load the box you have to be able to run the ball when you need to run the ball. Regardless of what some may think, all of the games are winnable one way or the other but I for one do not even give thought to what might be possible at season end, it matters not-only this weeks opponents and how to beat them period! Go Warriors!!!!
