Double tight ends

It’s only two days into the experiment but quarterback Karson Greeley is making an impression as a tight end on the scout team.

If that’s a familiar sight, it’s because his twin brother, Kade Greeley, has made some spectacular catches as a backup tight end with the top-tier players.

For now Karson Greeley still has his quarterback-membership card. Nick Rolovich said he will leave it to Karson to decide his position.

But Rolovich, always the innovator, envisions a scenario when the Greeley brothers would align as double tight ends while wearing nearly similar jersey numbers. The Warriors already are confusing observers at practice with kickers Alex Trifonovitch and Ryan Meskell both wearing No. 46.

There should be no confusion at kicker…Either one is making the kicks or not…One will go on the trip & the other stays home!

Wow, it’s exciting that just a week till game day. When are the warriors heading up to umass? I heard they are flying in to JFK? Was that a misquote? Or Are they driving up from there?

On paper, I think this is our best O-line since maybe 06— what do you guys think? Best group of rbs in a long time as well. I hope we have an ’01/’06/’10 type season this year…

Just received my ticket for the UMass game, which is the lone road game I get to this year. In any case, looking forward to the start of the season (but not the 6 hour soul-sucking drive to/from DC).

With it being a night time now, I plan to stop in at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA during the day on Saturday (~30 minute drive from Amherst and where my hotel is at for the weekend).

The other kicker, Boyle could kick well on his videos. But i guess the new atmospheric surroundings ( Hawaiian) affects some players.,

  12. H-Man August 18, 2017 3:03 pm

Just an observation. We really don’t know too much about the team at this stage. We know RG and RT remains open – not sure who will start, but I suppose it won’t matter. We know the offense has “had their moments,” likewise, the defense. Oh well, it’s one week away from UMass when we will see where the team is at. Hope they win. If the Warriors win big, then there will be a bigger crowd for the Western Carolina game, otherwise……….

Leave for Boston tonight. Just in time for tomorrow’s Freedon of Speech rally. Hoping for no trouble as I don’t want to be a prisoner in our hotel.

At 6’5″ if Karson is already getting noticed at the TE position, not an easy position to recruit, I can easily see a scholarship offer early in his career here if he is willing to make the change from QB. As a QB in high school he most likely has the athleticism needed to make the switch. Twin TE’s. Very cool.

    12) When RT Matt Norman gets healthy the RT & RG should be settled, it should be a few weeks.
