Coming and going

The Warriors are set to welcome recruits this weekend.

The Warriors expect to sign at least 10 players for the three-day commitment period beginning Dec. 20, a group that includes grayshirts, blueshirts and recruits.

Offensive lineman Fred Ulu-Perry is scheduled to undergo surgery today for a patella injury. Ulu-Perry is done for this season.

Get well soon Fred, we need you.

  2. Maddog50 November 10, 2017 9:25 am

If I understand you correctly we have 8 commitments right now, would those be part of the ten or are those separate? We have to absolutely eek out a win this week. I will be parked infront of TV tonite for UNLV/BYU. Rebels favored by 6. Sound familiar? FSU very similar to UNLV-more stout on D, playmakers at QB RB and Rec. No room for dropped balls special team miscues untimely penalties and slow Offensive start. There you have it. This is a gut check once again-GoWarriors!!!!

    Kamuela Borden counts toward 2018?

BYU almost pulled off a win over Fresno St last week.

Article in the Fresno Bee explains how Leilehua grad Netane Muti ended up at FSU after signing a LOI with UH. Current UH Director of Football Operations Jimmy Morimoto played a key role getting Muti to enroll at Fresno while he was the player personnel director under Tim DeRuyer. Muti will start at left guard on the Bulldog O-line vs UH.

Best wishes and a quick recovery to Fred Ulu-Perry. Get healthy and stronger than before.

Ten! This is good news. I assume Tavita Moe III is part of this group. Looks like he has gotten bigger. Mt San Antonio College lists him at 64/380.

Muti didn’t get accepted because he applied as a “regular” student? Who checks on/help recruits to make sure the paper work is “flawless”?
    Good article Old School Dave.

We need to recruit the line on defense heavy if we plan on running the 4-3 which it looks like we haven’t this year.

Northside vs Westside…Northside moving on to states!

Is the grass greener on the other side?

Megan Huff scored 16 points and 7 rebounds as Utah took down Nevada 87-61.

Huff was the best player on Hawaii’s team and yet she was the back-up for a less-talented teammate.

Gavin Peterson, however, shouldn’t be recruiting Beeman’s players.

Except for a win tonight nothing pleases me more, than UNLV losing to BYU last night. Except for the score the stats are almost a moron image of our game last week again except the score-I can only hope for fierce defense and crisp offense against the Bulldogs whose strength is defense-they will do one of two things play their bend no break 4-3 front with LB’s playing well off the ball and flowing I. U is on to the ball mixing in some blitz or gonna stack the box and stifle the offense. We will see but hey are susceptible to holes in the secondary for some passing success. Here’s is hoping for a clean game and offensive success-gonna have to score at least 28 on offense which is over their average-Go,Warriors!!!

  19. Maddog50 November 11, 2017 5:30 am

Moron? Meant “mirror”. I’m a moron!

All this good news about big defensive lineman signing their football committment with our Warriors football team.
Good news on the defensive line man recruits, but bad news of our inexperienced Warrior Defensive Coordinator and terrible coaches under him who continue to give away TDs to he opponent.
My hope is Coach Rolovich will replace the “Entire Defensive coaches’ which include the Defensive coordinator. Hire also an experienced Offensive Coordinator and line coach.
In their 7 straight losses, Rolo and his coaches were out-coached on each game.
If Rolo keeps his current coaches, he will literally lose the entire local Warrior base fans that were still loyal to the University of Hawaii football program.

Watching the Fresno BYU game and Multi is a Beast For a Freshman OL.

Tedford is turning 3* recruits to 5*
At this rate Hawaii will be lucky to be middle in conference

  23. H-Man November 11, 2017 9:52 am

A little late, but my prediction for tonight’s game, UH 38 Dpgs 35.

And regarding Megan Huff, the reason she transferred is she wanted a bigger stage and to play at a higher level to see if she could. She found it in Utah.

  24. H-Man November 11, 2017 9:53 am

    Another whoops, “Dogs”

  25. What? November 11, 2017 10:00 am

    Akamai Okole,

56-14, too funny! Those wins against BYU were nice. But, I’m afraid with this team, it could go 14-56. Thinking positive, that’s good. We’ll see! Go Warriors!
