Allen invited to all-star game
Offensive lineman Dejon Allen has been invited to play in the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.
The all-star game for pro prospects will be played in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 20. FS1 will televise the game nationally.
Mike Martz, whose offense was known as the “Greatest Show on Turf” when he was with the Saint Louis Rams, and Hall of Fame cornerback Darrell Green will be the head coaches.
UH still is hopeful that Allen will be invited to the Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine.

Rolovich wants to get a new OL coach soon, after the season ends.
I’m a big fan of the program and Rolo, but this coaching staff needs to add few with 20 years experience. I’m reminded of the difference between a Coach Cav-type who has seen it all and succeeded as a coach and teacher vs anyone seeking to turn playing prowess and coaching potential into reality. Need a little been there, done that well.
Maybe Coach Cav will be available after this season, if his boss Mike Riley gets fired. I wonder if Cav is willing to get paid with puka shell leis.
(Wishful rumors – Scott Frost to coach at his alma mater.)
Congrats to Tsai-ko myki, who won a UH football helmet at yesterdays Na Koa Coach Luncheon. To enter the drawing, one must have to attend 8 luncheons this year.
