The University of Hawaii women’s tennis team completed an undefeated run through the Big West regular-season schedule with a 4-0 win over Cal State Fullerton on Sunday in Fullerton, Calif.

The Rainbow Wahine had clinched at least a share of the regular-season title and claimed its first Big West crown outright with Sunday’s sweep. UH (14-6, 8-0 Big West) will be the top seed in the conference tournament, which runs Thursday to Sunday in Indian Wells, Calif. The Wahine face UC Irvine or UC Riverside in the quarterfinals on Friday.

UH last won a conference championship in 2012 as a member of the Western Athletic Conference. The Rainbow Wahine advanced to the Big West tournament final last year before falling to UC Santa Barbara.

UH’s Petra Melounova and Roxanne Resma, ranked 68th nationally in doubles, knocked off No. 51 Camille De Leon and Alexis Valenzuela 7-5. Cindy Nguyen and Klara Pribylova also won their match to give UH the doubles point in Sunday’s regular-season finale.

Sophomore Marina Hruba and freshmen Nikola Dolakova and Michelle Pitts won their singles matches in straight sets to close out the win over the Titans (18-3, 5-3).
