Hawaii basketball’s Eran Ganot continues to make good on his pledge to be a part of Coaches vs. Cancer.

Ganot and the Rainbow Warriors took a break from the day-to-day grind of practice to visit the Clarence TC Ching Hope Lodge on Friday.

The Hope Lodge provides free support for cancer patients traveling to Oahu for treatment. It opened in November.

Ganot, with UH regent Jeff Portnoy, presented the American Cancer Society with a check for $8,000. The ACS runs the Hope Lodge.

The donation follows a CvsC fundraiser Ganot put on with North Carolina coach Roy Williams at Murphy’s Bar and Grill prior to the teams’ game on Nov. 18.
